In this activity, you will be mining for a very important and delicious natural resource – chocolate chips!
While chocolate chips aren’t actually formed underground, we will use them to represent another important resource mined in North Dakota – lignite coal. Before we dig in, let’s learn a bit more about lignite coal mining, starting with some terms to know.
