How Many Watts?

A watt is a measurement of power and describes the amount of electricity an appliance uses. For example, a 60 Watt bulb uses twice the power a 30 Watt bulb uses. When large amounts of power are being measured, kilowatts may be used instead of watts. One kilowatt is equal to 1000 watts.
